Happy Hearts and Hooves Day!

A quick round-up of our ponies’ hard work!

The topic with the most submissions half-way through the month is the Scientific Challenge.

Out of 22 members, seven have completed the Team Unity challenge! Our TU challenge was to create something representing our favorite pony’s cutie mark. Sadly, your favorite pony blogger is not one of them, but soon! I’m working on a coffee cozy, and I designed the cutie mark pattern myself. I’m pretty proud of it, but I need to get moving on it before the month changes and takes the TU challenge with it!

Speaking of coffee cozies, a few members of our team have decided to jump in on a challenge most knitting/crocheting crafters are afraid to take on! We are making colorwork coffee cozies, and

*drumroll*

Steeking them! Yes, steeking! I’m really excited but really scared at the same time. Part of my fascination with knitting and crocheting is that we as crafters make some pretty amazing things, and it’s all from one piece of string. Cutting even one string can completely compromise the integrity of the entire work! Why take the chance? Why steek?

Because bronies are just that awesome. See you next week!
